The use of WM_QUIT

I have a service that is used too monitor an other application. And sometimes I want too close down the other application .

I have tried with PostMessage(Handle,WM_QUIT,VK_RETURN0,0);, but then I get several runtime errors.
In the documentation I have found: "Do not post the WM_QUIT message using PostMessage; use the PostQuitMessage function."

void PostQuitMessage(int nExitCode);
Parameters
nExitCode
[in] Specifies an application exit code. This value is used as the wParam parameter of the WM_QUIT message.

But how too find this nExitCode?!?

I'm stuck here now!! Can anybody help me?

What handle are you using? How are you obtaining it? Could you try:

PostMessage(Handle, WM_CLOSE, 0, 0);
