Remove inhertiance refernce from form

Good day

All my forms in my application inherits from one specific form, how can I remove this inheritance reference completely from one specific  form in my application, without re-creating the form.

That's easy - open form you want to de-inherit in designer, press ALT+F12 (or rightclick and choose View As Text) - change "inherited" to "object" in first line and press ALT+F12 again. Next in code editor change form's type declaration to be inherited from what you want, for example:

type
TForm2 = class(TForm1)

change to:
TForm2 = class(TForm)

and that's all :)

Yes if possible, if not possible then I will create the two forms from scratch without inheritance

If you don't want to use any inheritance, why go through the agony of removing it from an inherited form. Just create 2 new standard forms.

"ahh.. you may want to remove that parent form unit reference from uses list, too" - was meant as additional step you can do (for solution to be round and clean :). so - after performing steps in my first post you can safely remove (old) parent form unit from uses list too

Hi Experts

Sorry for replying now I was on leave.
If I remove the inheritance from a form, then If I call the form, the form behave weird, it does nothing.
If I put a showmessage on form create, then nothing happens.
