Is there any way I can set a cookie for Opera browser within a Delphi code?

I did find some more information on this. While the cookies use the same format apparently Opera places them in a file. Check this out.

All of the javascript examples are from within the browser. As I understand the problem you are wanting to be able to do this from outside the browser. This will involve knowledge of how each browser stores it's cookies. Most likely some registry spelunking will be involved in order to find where they are stored. There are other issues if you try to set the cookie while the browser is running (is the browser keeping the file open?). If the browser is not running and you know the location of the file to modify, it should not be a chore. I do not have Opera installed, and do not have the option at the office (yet). If you can 1) find where the file is stored and 2) give an example of the file then I am sure that one of the experts could show you how to do it. Unfortunately I do not have the time to research it further. Good luck.
I just went back to the link I gave you. The file is cookies4.dat and, according to the article, it cannot be changed manually (likely due to the attempt being made while the browser was running). The article hints at there being a directory for it (it looks like it would be under your profile). If the file is not text (I would think it should be) then it may take more time to pull apart in a binary fasion in order to allow manipulation. I hope this helps.

Cookies are browser independant. Setting one should then be visible from all browsers. In order to give you more I will need to have a few questions answered. What type of project are you wanting to do this in? Delphi for Win32? Delphi for .NET? Delphi WinForms application? The answer would be very dependant on at least this much. Let me know.
