how to stop prompt message when i insert data to edit2

i have two textboxes and one button
both boxes i set a maxlength

problem: when i insert to maximum lenght and move to edit2 box everytime i insert a value it will prompt me a message.

question: how to stop it keep prompting me message?

Because you are checking the length of edit 1. Change to this:

Oops - typo:

Should Be this:

so the only thing ineed to add is Edit := TEdit(Sender)
can i know why i need this Edit := TEdit(Sender)

You have:
Edit1.OnKeyPress = Edit1KeyPress
and
Edit2.OnKeyPress = Edit1KeyPress

This way one event handler can take care of both Edit1's and Edit2's events
