To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating. - The Grade of the Solution
- The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
- The Number of Author and Expert Comments
- The Number of Experts Contributing
- The Feedback of the Community
Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. I have 2 tables into firebird and i use ibqueries.

table1 data:
CategoryNo --- Name
1 Test1
2 Test2

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
table2 data:
ID --- Categoryid --- Name ---- Price
1 1 blabla1 2
1 2 blabla2 2
1 2 blabla3 2
1 1 blabla4 2

When i select all the data from the table2 iwant to take them as is except the categoryid.
Categoryid must have the value of the name field of the table1 based on the categoryno which is based on categoryid of table2.
So when i read the data i will not present to the grid the integer value of the categoryid but the name of the category.I know that i must use join statement but i am little confused...
