No not quite right. It does not perform the final re-draw.

I have a panel that I draw some content on it's canvas. I execute the drawing on OnResize event, so that even if the form is resized, the panel will re-draw the content based on new size, width and height.
The problem is that the code gets executed even while resizing... obviously, this is the OnResize event. But I would only like it to re-draw when I stop resizing it. If I have panel set aligned as alClient and I start resizing the Form, it will start drawing panel's content on each move I make with a mouse, and the redraw might happen 100 of times before the form is resized as I wanted it to be...
Is there an option to have 'OnEndResize' event on Panel, so that it only redraws when I stop resizing the form, and panel?
Thank you

The following example demonstrates trapping the WM_EXITSIZEMOVE
message to determine when the user has exited a Window sizing or
moving event. Although the message is documented as available only
under Windows NT, it does work equally as well under Windows 95. Note
that you can also trap the WM_ENTERSIZEMOVE to determine when the user
is initiating a window move or size operation.
Example:
type
TForm1 = class(TForm)
private
{ Private declarations }
public
procedure WMEXITSIZEMOVE(var Message: TMessage);
message WM_EXITSIZEMOVE;
{ Public declarations }
end;
var
Form1: TForm1;
implementation
{$R *.DFM}
procedure TForm1.WMEXITSIZEMOVE(var Message: TMessage);
begin
Form1.Caption := 'Finished Moving and sizing';
end;

You could delay the re-draw. While this would not completely prevent multiple re-draws it would significantly reduce them.
It would look something like this:
Select allOpen in new window
