Well, actually you CAN access a PST file directly but it is not advised. It is actually a structured storage format file. However, I would not advise accessing the PST directly and use COM to obtain the info you need. Use the Outlook2000.pas unit that came with your version of Delphi and view the examples in the VBA Help file that came with Outlook.
