running fortran on window XP with problem MMD.386 virtual device driver is not loaded

I tried to run microsoft power fortran on window XP. And I have got message returned as follow :
MMD.386 virtual device driver is not loaded .
Recommend to set 'DEVICE=<Directory Specified in Setup for Binaries>\MMD.386'  in SYSTEM.INI .
How can I do that ?  
Can anyone give me answer ? Thank you .

edit the system.ini file

[386Enh]
DEVICE=C:\windows\system32\MMD.386 <- this is where your MMD.386 should be, if it is located somewhere else change the path

i can't run fortan Version 1a on my win 2000. this message "MMD.386 virtual device driver is not loaded" appears. can anyone help?thanks
