Question
MUMPS Questions - Hi, I don't see M listed as one of the languages, but maybe someone can answer this quick question?
I run a medical practice management system called IDX. The programming behind the scenes for this is Mumps. I usually don't get too involved with the programming piece, but I need to build an input checking on one of my fields. I reviewed some basic M format checking in our online manuals, but I keep getting the error message "syntax error in your M Code"
If anyone can shed some light on how to code this correctly I would be forever grateful.
I'm trying to code the field so that either the letter "S" or "C" should be entered. (nothing else) I tried the following, but neither worked:
X?!S ! X?1C
X="S" ! (X="C")
Any suggestions on how I need to write this?
