Why not use NumberFormat?
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI want to format 30.5 to 00030.500 - Make the whole numbers to fill 5 spaces and decimals to fill 3 spaces. I dont want to use StringBuffers/for loops to format.
I am looking to see if if I can use String.format method.
System.out.println(String.
000300.500
This places extra 0 next to 30 making it 300. I want to know if there is a format specifier to add zeros to the end of integers. Any other ideas for achieving the desired results is much appreciated.
