Generic Text Only printer driver change the default from 10 cpi

Asked by MarsMadness in Delphi Printing, Printers & Scanners, Drivers

I am running WinXp and when I use Delphi to open the Generic Text Only printer driver I get a line width that is due to letter paper width and 10 cpi.  I want to keep the letter printer but use an oki data turbo printer in 17 cpi mode.  So I want to go to properties on the Generic Text Only printer driver and set it up so it returns 17 cpi instead of 10 cpi when I open the printer and ask for hte line width.  I am running Delphi 4 and cannot seem to change the line with inside the program.Start Free Trial
