The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Question about enable and disable menu-items

Dear Experts,

I have made this code for enable and disable menu-items:

procedure TfrmTextToSpeech.Edit1Click(Sender: TObject);
begin
  MenusAanpassen;  //this is Dutch and it means AdjustMenus
end;

procedure TfrmTextToSpeech.MenusAanpassen;
var
 Selected:Boolean;
begin
 Paste1.Enabled:=ClipBoard.HasFormat(CF_TEXT);
 Selected:=reText.SelLength>0;
 Cut1.Enabled:=Selected;
 Copy1.Enabled:=Selected;
end;

But now I have put a PopupMenu1 on the form that contains also the items:
Cut
Copy
Paste
Select All

question
1. The PopupMenu must also use the procedure MenusAanpassen to enable and disable the items, how can I do that?
2.  I think the sentence:
   
    =>  Selected:=reText.SelLength>0;

    of the procedure MenuAanpassen isn't right! It has to be disabled when there is no text in my TRichEdit
    and enabled if there is text in it. Can anyone correct this.
