How do i go about writing a regex expression that would remove all lines that are less than 8 Chacters? Preferably in .NEt syntax but perl syntax would also work as i can convert it

Something like this:
#!/usr/bin/perl
my $s = "123456789
12345678
234567
1234
112345678";
$s =~ s/^.{0,7}$//gm;
print $s;
