\(?\+?[0-9]*\)? - This is very strange RegExp pattern. It is unlikely to be what you really want because:
The parens are optional, and don't have to be matched, all of the following
match, or satisfies this part of the RegExp:
(
)
+
+123
(111)
This part of the pattern has similar problems:
[0-9_\- \(\)]*
The only non-digits that are allowed/valid are
Underscore
hyphen (minus)
space
open/close parens
and they can occur zero or more times.
