WHERE DR_sys_dt2 = '2008-01-03 00:00:00.000'
RESULT:1000 records
when I use this syntax
select * FROM T_MAIN_REQUESTS
WHERE DR_sys_dt2 = getdate()
RESULT:0 Records
Can you please tell me why getdate function is not working ? when I write getdate() it should also bring the same amount of records which is 1000
I also tried
DECLARE @dt DATETIME
SET @dt = GETDATE()
select * FROM T_MAIN_REQUESTS
WHERE DR_sys_dt2 = getdate()

When you call "getDate()" it will include the current time so your statement will only work for records of that exact second in time, to strip out the time of a getDate() call you need to cast it as follows:
