The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Hi - I have 3 tables the need to be joined together. Here is the details...

Table1 (4 columns):
ProductId
SiteId
BrandId
ParentNumber

Table2(4 columns)
ProductDefinitionId
SiteId
ProductCatagory
PropertyName

Table3(4 colums)
ProfileId
ProductId
ProductDefinitionId
PropertyValue

The ProductId in Table1 and Table3 link together
The ProductDefinitionId in Table2 and Table3 link together
The SiteId in Table1 and Table2 link together

My input values are  ParentNumber and SiteId (Table 1)

Here is a sample of the Tables

Table1:
ProductId   SiteId   BrandId   ParentNumber
1                   99          10               E745
2                   99          10               E755

Table2:
ProductDefinitionId   SiteId   ProductCatagory   PropertyName
100                              99               Cat1                   Color
101                              99               Cat1                   Size
102                              99               Cat1                   Weight

Table3:
ProfileId   ProductId   ProductDefinitionId   PropertyValue
1000            1                       100                        Red
1001            1                       101                        Large
1002            1                       102                        5KG
1003            2                       100                        Green

Some I need to get the following output ( I need Table2 to become columns) sort of...

Values are: E745, 99  ( ParentNumber and SiteId)

Output Required:
ParentNumber     Color             Size         Weight                                  --columns
E745                     Red             Large          5KG                                    --row(data)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I think I need to create a temp table
Some how query Table 2 to set the columns (not sure how this is done)
Insert the data from Table 3
and SELECT for the output.

Can anyone Help?
