With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Feedback of the Community

mysql join not working

I can't figure out why the first query works but the second one doesn't.Start Free Trial

SELECT property.id, property.ownername, property.siteaddress,property.folio,property.status FROM property,register WHERE register.inventoryid = property.id 
 
works
 
SELECT property.id, property.ownername, property.siteaddress,property.folio,property.status FROM property,register JOIN register.inventoryid ON property.id 
 
doesn't work. In fact if gives the following error:
#1044 - Access denied for user '329992_equity'@'%' to database 'register' 
 
WHY?!
