With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

The Grade of the Solution
The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
The Number of Author and Expert Comments
The Number of Experts Contributing
The Feedback of the Community

Delimited list as parameter in MS Access Query?

Hello and thank you for reading my question. I have a query that looks like this:

PARAMETERS strStatesID Text ( 255 );
SELECT tblContacts.strFirstName, tblContacts.strLastName, tblCompanies.strCompany, tblCompanies.strCity, tblCompanies.intStatesID
FROM tblCompanies INNER JOIN tblContacts ON tblCompanies.intCompanyID = tblContacts.intCompanyID
WHERE tblCompanies.intStatesID IN (strStatesID )
ORDER BY strCompany, strCity, strLastName, strFirstName;

When executing the query with a parameter such as 22, 35 I receive the following error:

"The expression is typed incorrectly, or it is too complex to be evaluated."

Do I need to execute the sub-query differently, i.e., create a select for the ID's first and then join the results to what I'm looking for?
