SQL Reporting Service 2008 free for sql server 2005

is it possible that sql reporting service 2008 freely used with sql server 2005. I have License of Sql server ,there are lot of thing which can't be done in Sql Server 2005 reporting server. Which is possible in Reporting service 2008 ,So i want to use sql server 2008 reporting service only without purchasing license for it.

Sorry, you gotta ante up for the version you use.  2008 Express includes a free version but it's scaled down and may not have all the functionality you need.

Sorry, dqmq is right, SSRS is "free" with the same version db and on the same server box. But beyond that you have to pay or use the what you can get with express, which since you are not happy with 2005 might not be enough. Good luck.
