Browse All Topicsi have a database file which has 2 tables, one is 2008 and the other is 2nd Fund. Both's structure are similar except that the 2008 does not have many fields that the 2nd table has.
I am trying to append the data from 2008 to 2nd Fund to similar fields. But I get an error and it fails to append due to data violations, etc. Can some one please examine both the tables, and let me know the fields that are causing the problem, and if need be to change its structure. Thanks.

First answer all of jparul questions...
1. This will go a LOT smoother if you:
Named all the same fields, with the same names (You can change them once the data is appended).
2. Put all the same fields in the same order in both tables.
3. You sample data contains no records, so it is impossible to duplicate your situation.
4. Can you please state what fields in each table correspond to one another?
