If you use the CGI.pm module (standard module) you can parse out your list of arguments using the param() function.
so something like:
use CGI;
my $q = new CGI;
print $q->header('text/html');
if ( $q->param() && ($q->param('keywords') eq 'objectnotfound') ) {
print $q->start_html("Object not found"),
$q->h1("Object not found error.");
} else {
print $q->start_html("Parameter error"),
$q->h1("The parameter you passed was not recognized.");
}
print $q->end_html;
