Is there anyway to fill input box value using javascript but not through a JS function, I mean like in php we can write something <input type="text" name="name" value="<? echo $somevariable ?> " />
can we have something similar in javascript, as I cant call any function on body load or on change or something, so it should be somewhat similar to php echo.
basically I want to show current date in field which is not possible using HTML and I cant use PHP in this particular case as the page is pure html template and it wont parse the php tags so somehow restricted to javascript solution only.
