XML Parsing Error xmlParseEntityRef ?

I have the following code in javascript, I do not get any error in the actual browser, but when I validate it through http://validator.w3.org/check, I get the following error :

Line 346, Column 55: XML Parsing Error: xmlParseEntityRef: no name

great that worked. Can you also please tell me what the problem is with this line ?
do I need to do anything with ampersand ?
