Use JavaScript/jQuery to edit select options

Hi all,

If I have the following html code generated by a CMS:

<select name="Weight">
<option value="">-- Please select --</option>
<option value="741085">1.5KG </option>
<option value="741086">3KG $15</option>
<option value="741087">8KG $63.30</option>
</select>

How can I use jQuery to turn the "$" sign into "+$"??

How can I edit the inner html of the options??

You can replace it via its text() value during each() iteration method.

I had something very similar. However, I was using the .html() function instead of .text() and it was doing all sorts of weird things!!.
