Query datepicker - 1 result in multiple input fields

I would like to populate 2 text fields with a date selected from a single jquery datepicker.

I need the 2 text fields to display the selected date in different formats.

I'm sure this is simple but i'm struggling.

Any help appreciated.

Just add an on change event to the first input field that duplicates the entry to the next field

I don't think that's quite what I'm after.

I would like to use the jquery datepicker to populate 2 input fields with the same date. I need the 2 fields to display the date in different formats though.

So for example one would be displayed as 2009-11-26 and the other as Thu 26 Nov 2009

Here's the code I have so far (which does not work)...
