The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

JavaScript question

Asked by strandarr in JavaScript

I need a prog. that changes a gif(1) into animated gif(2) when clicked upon and changes in gif(3) the next time, but the 3rd click should put gif(2) back again, followed by 3,2,3,2,3,2... in other words, gif: 1,2,3,2,3,etc.

THEN I need that to work with 4 separate pictures...
gif(a1) gif(b1) gif(c1) gif(d1)
gif(a2) gif(b2)
gif(a3)
gif(a2)  etc....

AND I need a different midi file to be played.
All the gif(2)'s are accompanied by a midi, 1 and 3 are silent.
BUT when gif(a2) and gif(b2) are visible a different midi should be played than when just gif(a2) is visible, and so for all combinations of gif([x]2) there is a different midi song...

abcd
0000 - silent
1000 - midi 1000
0100 - midi 0200
0010
0001
1100   etc.
1010
1110 - midi 1230
1111
etc...

See it as 4 different musicians who play different instruments, I already made the 15 midi's for all the combinations, but I need the program to recognize which musicians are playing... Understand?

The problem is that I need it by tomorrow... :(

200 points AND honours for the chap who clears this one.
