DIV and Netscape

I have 1 table containt 3 rows [tr] each row containt a div and a table... it's like a frame but with menu.. one at left and in middle and one at right...
in my table right I have a div with a form on it... and textbox... I want put textbox visible=false..
I know I can set my div with id and position absolute... but my 2 row is set with % like 16% 80% 24% ...
in right menu I have a
<div> ... <div id="a"> form textbox </form> </div> ... </div>

when I put my div[a] with absolute position my right menu go down.. below of my left menu... and only left and middle menu still there...
it's like my right menu is no more take the %....
any idea how I can got the textbox at visible=false but with keep my right menu with %???
