javascript window question:

Hey all,

Just had a question with parent-child windows./

I have a parent window ..(main window) with a button.

If we click on button, we have javascript which opens a child window..

javascript looks like this:

function osiAdditions()
{
leadID = 111;
lov_win = window.open(
"as.jsp?p_lead_id="+ leadID,
"OSI",
"resizable=yes,menubar=yes,scrollbars=yes,width=780,height=450,screenX=200,screenY=150");
lov_win.opener = self;
}

Now if we minimize this window (child window), and we click on button of parent window again.. nothing comes up because window is already open but just had been minimized..

what I want to do is:

if somebody minimizes the window and click on button of parent window again.. child window should again pop up (so minimized window should become active..)

BUT!!! I don't want to change JAVASCRIPT on parent window.. I can only write code in child window and not in parent window.. so can I somehow put some code in child window which can track the click of button on parent window and maximizes it if that button has been clicked..

would appreciate help plz..
