Im trying to position a div using the elements or the mouses Xy coordinates.
The problem is seeing the a page scrolls the mouse XY wont work , because the if u position the div it is positioned relative to the top of the document and not the window. So now im trying the get the seperate element xy positions.
Any help would be appreciated ^_^

If I understood corect your question your problem is that you would like to get coordinates not from the top of the window, but from the top of the document. Try this:
eval(event.x + document.body.scrollLeft)
eval(event.y + document.body.scrollTop)
So you will get absolute coordinates from the top of document not just window.
