The date in javascript

i have been designing a web page up to now and all of it is html. Now i have heard you can use a piece of javascript to give you some list boxes for the date of birth for the user.

what i need is:

1) A drop down box with with the day of birth i.e. 1,2,3,4
2) And a drop down box with the months, ie. January, Feb...
