I've looked a bit closer, beacuse I was skeptical. The function in the second link I provided does seem to work, after some modifications posted about later down the thread.
But: **ONLY** for pages in the current domain. Security restrictions prevent it from working when the contents of the iframe are in a different domain than the parent document.
So sorry, this can't be done unless you can work with the company powering the content inside the iframes, and then the solution would be along the lines of what's in my first link.
