The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Referincing an opened window after a main window change of location

I have a main window and from it I open a new window.

var popup = window.open(sURL, sName, sOptions)

From the main window I have the reference to the opened window in the javascript variable popup which stores the result of the window.open call, but after the location of the main window changes (because I navigate the site or refresh the page) I lose this variable.

Is it possible, in some way, to get again the reference to the opened window?

I thought about an interval from the opened window which uses its property opener to call a function of the opener to set again the variable, but I'd like something simpler.
