question about javascript 'classes'

hello, I have been xperimenting with javascript classes (I'm not sure if that's the correct definition), but I get an error while I try to do the next (let me explain with a sample):

suppose that's the main page (*.htm):
<html><head>
<script language="JavaScript" src="qwe.js"></script>
<script language="JavaScript">
var a=new theclas("test");
a.A();
</script></head><body></body></html>

and that's the 'qwe.js' javascript file:
function theclas(p)
{
this.p=p;
this.A=A;
this.C=C;
}
function A()
{
document.write("<span onClick=\""+this.C+"\">here</span>");
}
function C()
{
alert("");
}

the starting is right, tha span with the text is showed on the screen, but when I click on it, I get the next error:"syntax error Line: 1, Column: 9 Source Code: alert(", and a pointer points to the first '(' of the 'alert()', as meaning that's wrong. ok, there's no syntax error on 'alert("");', so I suppose that's a wrong way of calling a 'inside-class-function'.
my question is: how can I call from out of the class a function located in it? Of course I won't use it so create an alert (I can do it from an 'external' function).
