Hi folks,
Is there any sort of javascript validator out there similar to the W3's HTML validator?
I've seen JSLint, but it only shows one error at a time - so if I do not know how to fix said error, I can't see any others further along in the code.

that's a debugger more than a validator - and doesn't work properly with FF 1.5.
I do have the version that was hacked to work w/ 1.5 however you can only use it once every time you open your browser, as soon as you close it and want to use it again, the entire browser must be shut down and the process killed via taskmanager. interesting, but quite a pain in the ass.

Just like I stated in the question - something like the W3's HTML validator, which simply goes through the code and lets you know if something is wrong with it. JSLint seems to be pretty close, but as I mentioned, only shows one error at a time.
the debugger actually shows values for variables, etc - something like JSLint just shows me where i missed a paren, or a semicolon, etc....

yeah the console has always been pretty good, and I'd honestly never thought about it either until I was messing around with Venkman this morning, and saw a reference to JSLint - put some code into JSLint and it gave me an error that the console hasn't returned (wasn't bit - just an extra pair of parens that should have technically been in there) - but it got me wondering if such a thing existed. i use the HTML validator all the time, and it would be nice if there was something similar for JS.

I remember one vague thing from quite some time ago that I saw about a guy for a college class/thesis made some sort of javascript compiler ... it has been quite some time since I messed with it and I just searched around on Google to see if I could still find a link ... but no luck so far
If there is something out there that does what you are looking for it's not very well publicized or known on the Internet.

I did see a great new extension for Firefox called Firebug which has been helpful so far.
