Perhaps some cells have spaces before and after the numbers, then use this:
var re=/^\s*\-?0\.?0*\s*$/;
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI need to loop through all table cells (TD tags) in an html document and remove anything that is zero.
e.g.
<td>0.000</td>
<td>0</td>
<td>00000</td>
<td>-0</td>
These should all become <td></td>. If any other characters are present other than 0 . - it should leave the value alone.
I am trying to use regular expressions (new to me) but cannot get it to work.
This is what I have so far:
var re=/\.|0*/.
var cells = document.getElementsByTagN
for (var i = 0; i < cells.length; i++)
{
if (re.test(cells[i].innerHTM
{
cells[i].innerHTML='';
}
}
Any guidance appreciated!
