Changing form password values with JS

Hello,

On an onclick event I want to replace whatever the password is with "password"

               <input size="24" name="txtNewPass" type="password" value="" />

Security issues aside, how can this be done?

On the submit button add:

As callrs says, there's no difference, as there are many ways to do the same thing.
