Firefox calling function in parent from child window

on my site there is a pop up window that takes them to a third party vendors site during the checkout process. When the user is done on the 3rd parties site, the pop up window is redirected to a page on our server which executes some queries and then sends this javascript back to the browser to execute a function in the parent window and close the child. it works fine in IE but FireFox does not seem to like it.

Do you get any errors in the firefox error console?

here is the function in the parent window

the error console says

seems to work a lot better thanks for telling me about the error console though that was a big help
