What are you using for Antivirus software? If nothing, I would suggest downloading the trial for Nod32....

Install it, update it and reboot to safe mode, for a full scan....
I would do a few other things....Install and update Super Anti Spyware and reboot to Safe Mode.

Then do a full scan, and see what it finds. Then you can even do an Online Virusscan for Housecall, or another one listed below if you use Safe mode w/ networking.
