I want to add a rating tool to my website?

I am trying to edit free script to add a rating tool to my website.
I found this tool on http://labnol.blogspot.com/2007/10/add-ratings-to-your-blog-posts-for.html but I don't want it to say "you liked the blog" and boring as one of the rating options. I would love to change the script to saying when hover over:
Bad, Poor, OK, Good, Excellent
Also change "you liked the blog" & etc to "you gave one star", "you gave two stars" .... after a user has selected this option.
Third, I want to remove the [?] that appears after you select an option
Finally I want to take this js script and put it on my server, will the code still function and save everyones rating if I create this js script on my server and just change the html target?
I have attached the js if anyone knows how to edit this.
