Javascript Validation for Phone and Email Fields in HTML page

Hi there,
I have 2 functions in my web form for "Required Fields" and the other one is for "Validate Fields".

In the Validate_form function , I need to include the Javacript Validation for Email and Phone Fields:-
function validate_form(thisform)
{
with (thisform)
{
if (validate_required(email,"Email must be filled out!")==false)
  {email.focus();return false;}
}
}

I need to use the error message that is there to show the correct error saying something like "You must enter a valid Email Address and Phone Number before submitting."  Do not allow form submission if it is not valid.


Please can some one provide me with the EXACT code which can fit in this function to complete this.

There are too many examples on the Internet, and I need to understand on how to modify this function to include the validation.
