Javascript, window.prompt blocked and got null data (bypassed !)

I have this javascript in the front document to take a simple password that guard a photopage.
The IE blocks the window.prompt  by showing on messape bar. But even before I click "temporally allow the blocked content the window.prompt passed and got a value NULL to the variable "passcode" without giving a chance for user to enter the code in anyway. I saw a quick flash of pop ups which I think might be the passcode entry window. Please help.

the Method prompt() takes Two parameters.
Pass the second parameter as empty String if you have no default value.
