Browse All TopicsI am trying to add a new item to an asp listbox using javascript from a child window. I have tried the following code on my child page without any luck:
var to = window.opener.document.get
to.options.add(new Option('1','1'));
I have also tried:
var to = parent.document.getElement
without any luck also.
The following code works fine on the parent page to add new items to the listbox:
function AddItem(){
var to = document.getElementById("R
to.options.add(new Option('1','1'));
}
Any help is greatly appreciated.

alert(window.opener)
and verify that it doesn't say "null" if it does there's something wrong with how you're accessing the child window.
