onsubmit always the form

Hi,

I have the following form, which calls the following simple JS validation routine

the problem is, the alert box always alerts, but the form always submits

obviously my validation routin is a little more complex, but even when stripping it down to next to nothing, it still doesnt work!!

this happens in firefox 3 and IE 6Start Free Trial
