Question

How can I add "Submit Once" funtion to my JavaScript code?

Hello all,

 I have got a form where the fields has to be checked if there are any values or not. At the same time I would like users to be able to click "Submit" button only once. Submit form value also should change to "processing..." from "Submit"

 Code should work on all browsers or at least most commonly used ones like (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Opera, Netscape, etc..)

 I will be glad if anyone can help me.

you probably don't have the correct field names. The posted code will work if you have the right field names. Your last comment is NOT useful feedback, so I can't tell you what you are doing wrong. Good luck.

hielo, thank you for your reply again. I just copied and pasted your code and tried to run it. It should give some error or something but it says script error. Shouldn't it pop up some alert window and say field is empty?

 it just directly trying to go yourscript.php that's why I said something is wrong but ok ty, I will try to find a way around.

I think you are referring to line 5:
form.submitter.value="Processing..."'

which incorrectly ends with an apostrophe. It should end in a semicolon:
form.submitter.value="Processing...";

IE immediately gives you an alert pointing to that line.

      form.submitter.disabled=true;
meaning sumitter should be submitter?
