wrong code above.. new code below..

What I did was replace the 2 side images with 2 halves of a image. So now its a title image which gets drawn back. Though I am having problems getting the whole thing to align in the center of a page rather than filling it all up. I did get close to it working but the images overlap and start doing strange things..
In anycase, all I really want to do is display the title image in the center of the screen, then when it is clicked, the 2 halves just scroll to the sides which then uncover a 3rd image behind the first 2 sliding images. I dont need the squashing effect like in the example url, so it should be just a matter of altering the X locations of the pictures.. Like the left image just gets moved 500px to the left, and the right image 500px to the right.
Im not much good with CSS , I tend to locate my images in simple tables as it saves a lot of problems across browsers, though it may need CSS to do the scrolling effect ? either way I can't see how to alter a image location in realtime unless I enclosed the images in a div and altered its contents so it just redraws the images from a JS loop, would probably work, but have a feeling it would flicker as the image was redrawn. .help!
