what is a philosophical oop php book at my skill level.
I have stopped future reading ( I am just reviewing oop chapters)
Because chapters at the end of book contain too many files
and one chapter is about curl (which I think is too practical not related to philosophical oop)
http://www.larryullman.com/books/php-advanced-and-object-oriented-programming/
I think this book is beneficial, but I am stuck at an oop chapter and a single code example is taking me days and I am still not understanding.
Chapter 9 Generating Objects.
There are 23 chapters.
I skipped to future code examples and same. I have run up to a wall.

PHP This! A Beginners Guide to Learning Object Oriented PHPee experts did not like this book

Try this one:

The Weisfeld book seems unpopular and the reviews are not very good. PHP This! has only four reviews. I might hold off on buying that until I could borrow a copy.

I think I am running out of php oop books.
Thanks.
Thanks.
1. Not too old. PHP OOP from five years ago is almost too old. Try to get something new-ish.
2. Not too rare or arcane. If there are only 12 reviews, skip the book and choose a different one that has many good reviews.
3. Well reviewed by verified purchasers. If the overwhelming majority of reviews are not 5-star, choose a different book.
That's about it, and except for a very few, that is how I have chosen all of my technical book from Amazon. Best of luck, ~Ray
