PGP encryption of a file using perl

Asked by tcvinod in Perl Programming Language

Tags: , ,

Hi,

I have to perform PGP encryption of a file using Perl, before FTP'ing to different location.
As FTP is not a secure FTP, the encryption has to be handled within the Perl program.

I have Perl 5.6.1 in SunSolaris box.
Is that possible using perl? If so, PGP software and "PGP" perl module would suffice to perform the work?
Could anyone please help me with some sample programs or some links where I can gather the information from.

Thanks,
