Play Live-Feed radiostation in PERL

Asked by Lil in Perl Programming Language

Tags: play, client, feed, live

I am currently working on a website for an internet radio. The site will have LIVE FEED. Their host currently is live365.com. To cut long story short, mosy of live365's clients have one link for one player or Windows Media, another for WinAmp and iPod, and another one for realplayer. We would like to eliminate these choices and just have one live-play button. For that we need to find a way to find what works best with a certain system, and not intimidate the client with all these realplayer/winamp/etc. choices. The live music just would play while people (hopefully) would browse on the website. There would only be a simle "play >" and "stop "||" button. I just know that there is not much tat cannot be done in PERL and I have confidence this can.
