Perl parsing Excel

When I trying to parse excel using the Perl module Spreadsheet::ParseExcel I am getting this error:
Error PPS:0 oot EntryÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÀFªú²È®È-§¦¯È1W

Not sure why. Please advise. I ftp the file from windows to unix and then run the script for parsing the excel.Start Free Trial
