if the record in the file is something like
1=A^A2=B
where it is ctrl A char
how do i pattern match that will something like this work I need to get 1 value

this directory contains subdirectories. IN this subdirectories i need to recursively look for a particular file called output.log.
IN the output.log i need to look for a particular line which match this 1=A.*2=B. Then I need to cat the file and retrieve that line. The values i the file are crtl A delimited.
